Welcome to Pen Friends and Services, Inc. Pen Friends and Services, Inc. is a
dedicated effort to provide low cost and free resource materials to offenders. It is our goal to provide inmates with
resources, free world contacts, educational materials, religious materials and
information which will help both them and society. While we do not provide
direct legal aid, study materials or have access to these materials, we do
provide updated names, addresses and contacts for the offenders to initiate
contact and request materials. Rape and disease prevention, violence and
abuse resources are also available. Pen Friends and Services, Inc. is a 501 (c)
non-profit organization. The corporation is organized exclusively for
the purpose of defending and promoting human and civil rights secured by law and
within the meaning of Section 501 (c) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as
amended, by providing current after-care resources, educational and scriptural
resources, and rape prevention and disease prevention resources at low cost to
individuals who are incarcerated in federal, state or county prisons. No
inmate shall be denied access to our information because of inability to pay.

friendly resources. Pen Friends and Services maintain a resource organizations
list which is updated quarterly so our information is fresh and current, no
outdated information if we can help it. Pen Friends and Services also,
participates in various other projects with nationwide availability.
Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee every resource will keep their word and do
what they say they’ll do, but we try. We at Pen Friends and Services are
not a match making, dating service. Our purpose is to provide quality,
affordable sources of contact for prisoners and free world organizations to
prevent 're-entry'. Because of the irresponsible actions of free world
individuals, we have discontinued listing individuals in our resource listings,
effective November 15, 2006.

Free Books and Reading Materials Several
companies and individuals furnish books and reading materials to those currently
incarcerated. A majority of these are free and if the inmate includes a SASE
these companies will furnish a listing of what is available. (cost 6 first class

Free Bibles and Religious Materials This is a DOC
approved list of religious materials and other items used in worship. Various
faiths, denominations, and cultures are represented here. A wide assortment of
venues are covered: Koran, Courses by mail, King James Version, a majority are
free or at low price for those incarcerated. (cost 6 first class stamps, or a
money order for $2.00) One of our most
popular listings is the Legal Resources, various degrees of assist is available,
from DNA questions to court challenges. We do not represent any legal firm or
give legal advice, but these organizations are located all over America. Due to
heavy backlog of business some may be slow in replying, so patience is required.
